We tapped a couple kegs today to test carbonation so here are some quick updates.
Milksteak Stout: Chocolatey and smooth, not yet carbonated but exciting. The nose is roasty and slightly sweet, which lines right up with the taste.
Headless Horseman #3: We added more pumpkin spice this time and it comes through well. It is not yet fully carbonated either but I think this might be our best rendition of pumpkin ale.
Barrel Roll IPA: No carbonation; I’m guessing the barrel just won’t pressurize enough. The smell is a little off. Most likely a result of using an old wine barrel. Luckily the taste is right on and the oak comes through.
